Haley

  • How I feel: Getting hungry
  • Enjoyed: Kipper the dog
  • Weather: 72
  • Thought for today: "Keep in touch with the Lord."
Since I've written in here. Haley was in the hospital. Thursday the 13th she woke me up choking. Her airways were blocked. She couldn't breath in or out. She was choking to death. I panic'd. I didn't know what to do. All I could do was scream and cry and beg God to help her. Finally after a few seconds my husband told me to use the suctioner. So I did  and finally right b4 the emts got there I got her to breathing. It seemed like it took forever to get her better. The doc. put her in the hospital for observation and now she wears a heart monitor because they found out she has G.E.R.D. which causes sleep apnea. So far she is doing much better.

Ok. I want to know what you think about this. My other daughter Amber went to the doc. and ever since her sis. came home from the hospital she has been acting like a dog. You can't call her Amber. You have to call her puppy and she even says things like " Puppy has to eat." Well, today (Thurs.) the doc. told me that she was not to act like a puppy. He even pointed his finger @ her and said "NO! You are not a dog!" I mean acting like her dad would. I mean really is it that big a deal that she act like a dog? He thought it was a really big deal. I have to work with her for the next two weeks and go back and see him. Plus she failed some kinda eye test they done on her.  What do you think? Isn't that ridiculous?

Til next time,

I am so grateful to be reading that Haley is okay! How scarey!!!

Now as for Amber acting like a Puppy. . keep in mind I have not gone to school for any "education" concerning kids. . I am just a Mom with kids who went & are going through this stage. . right now my 4 year old loves to act like a cat named "Crab" . . sometimes it is exhausting for the cat bit can drive you crazy. . what I do when it gets a bit in to over kill is I sigh deeply . . a lot. . then begin to say in a wistful voice. . "Oh kitty! I really miss my girl! Where can she be? You remember Farrah don't you?" & I go on & on about what she looks like how I miss hugging & kissing her & talking to her. . & within a few moments all the sudden I hear "Here's Farrah!". . maybe you can try that with Amber? Sometimes I like to trick the kitty & say " Farrah's favorite color is brown!" & Farrah will get upset & say "No it isn't Mommy! My favorite color is orange & yellow & purple!" & then I do the "There you are Farrah! I missed you sooooo much!" smoochies, hugs & all. . then I tell her how much I like her being her. .

For myself I see nothing wrong with your little one acting like a Puppy. . but I think we need to let our kids know there is a time to play & a time not too. . make sense? I hope so. . I can not wait to hear how it goes?
How is work?
